This is an absolutely fantastic start for our KC boys. They really have the right mentality as a team but more importantly, in the back 4. In the 2009 Season, we lacked much defense and left most of it up to former keeper, Kevin Hartman. The confidence that Vermes has instilled in the players is tremendous. Also, did my eyes deceive me or were the celebrations that occurred last Saturday night involve pretty much the entire team every time? I see the team chemistry overflowing at Community America Ballpark. If the boys keep working hard at training, the Rapids on the following Saturday should be a piece of cake. I'll be in attendance at CAB.

I’d really have to know the whole story to say whether it was right to let him go so abruptly! At first glance it seems unwise to release someone without having an official suitable replacement! I was not expecting this one! I would be more concerned for a certain other coach who I will not name. The coach to some degree is only as good as it’s players.. HOWEVER: It is their responsibility to learn what each players strenghths and weaknesses are and use them to the teams advantage!

The east is a best this season. I am not sure that KC can qualify. In my opinion, Lopez is overated for his salary, and KC played better when he was riding the bench errrr resting. Team speed at forward was a major issue during the preseason and they failed to address it during the draft or free agency. KC is solid, bu I see them fall short this year with the improvement of NYRB and TFC.
